SENIOR DIGITAL SPECIALIST

Position Overview: Reporting to the SVP, the Digital Specialist will own all paid marketing performance to drive growth across our digital landscape. As the subject matter expert, you will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as clients to steer the continued growth of this critical channel, driving paid search, paid social, display and native ads to deliver significant, qualified paid traffic. You will help develop strategies, identify optimization opportunities and execute day-to-day tactics to increase marketing- driven pipeline and site traffic. You must have excellent communications skills with the ability to confidently present campaign performance, and provide ongoing recommendations and thought leadership on the latest industry trends to senior managers. You will work to manage budgets including spend forecasts; manage keyword builds and audits, campaign testing promotion execution, and daily bid optimization.

The Sr. Digital Specialist will be an active doer of strategic planning and execution of digital and social campaigns for DCC Marketing and its clients across the digital ecosystem. Responsibilities range from strategy, implementation, conception, creative, execution, and analysis. This position is a key component to supporting the growth of our clients business.

Responsibilities:

Digital Specialist

  • Develop, manage, coordinate execution, analyze, report and forecast digital media campaigns
  • Digital marketing for lead generation, channels, sources, best practices and KPI’s.
  • Paid search with AdWords (Re-Marketing, Display, Search)
  • Setup Facebook & Google data layers for proper Google Ad tracking and Facebook conversion
  • Manage SEO/SEM efforts
  • Manage, track, and analyze digital and web platforms

Analysis

  • Continuously use analytics metrics to measure and optimize campaign performance
  • Analyze and report on performance/ROI of digital marketing efforts using a variety of web analytics
  • Analyze data to maintain and forecast monthly budget and ROI figures, and to provide key insights and recommendations on campaign performance
  • Identify complex problems to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions Strategic
  • Work closely with account managers to help achieve client
  • Lead the design of insight driven digital strategies
  • Define quarterly goals and objectives for clients in the digital and web space
  • Develop & translate existing client brand positioning and messaging to digital, online and mobile
  • Provide thought-leadership on all-things digital; promote best-practices, new ideas and initiatives, and in-depth research, analysis and reporting across all digital channels
  • Contribute to new digital business development Industry Knowledge
  • Detailed evaluation of the client needs, capabilities/assets, and competitors
  • Identify, select and manage third-party digital and web vendors and contractors as required
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis as it relates to digital competitiveness; identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats

Communication

  • Communicate campaign performance to clients. Ensure business implementation tasks are being delivered on-time and as expected by the
  • Build presentations which encompass client knowledge and effectively present program insights

Requirements:

  • Expertise in conceiving, testing, and optimizing ad copy
  • Web analytics and reporting experience
  • Experience with LinkedIn Lead Generation and automation, and Facebook Blueprint
  • Strong passion and understanding of technology, both established and emerging
  • Exceptional team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence
  • Ability to thrive in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strategic thinker and thought-leader with strong analytical skills
  • Clear understanding of core marketing principles
  • Ability to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats through data analysis
  • Experience lifting digital and web conversions through user-experience and usability enhancements
  • Digital media planning, buying and placement experience
  • Ability to translate ideas into actionable plans and tactics
  • Strong presentation development and delivery skills
  • Skilled at time, task, and budget management – especially attentive to detail and deadlines
  • Outstanding communication (both written and verbal), organization, and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Regional travel will occasionally be required

Education & Experience:

  • 3 – 5+ years of hands-on digital marketing and advertising experience across multiple platforms, including marketing/communications experience
  • BA in marketing or related field OR appropriate combination of experience and education
  • Strong understanding of paid media including social media, content marketing, email marketing, PPC and SEM
  • Google Analytics and AdWords Search and Display certifications, required
  • Website and landing page development a plus
